بالأمس ذهبت إلى الإسكندرية بصحبة صديقتي. ذهبت هي لقضاء مهمة صغيرة و ذهبت أنا طمعاً في أكلة سمك معتبرة. طبعاً كل ذكرياتي عن إسكندرية إما سبتمبرية أو إمتحاناتية.. يعني إسكندرية التي أعرفها رايقة و جميلة.. نسيت تماماً أننا في شهر يوليو و أن جموع التتار تحتل المدينة الجميلة في هذا الوقت من العام

أول مفاجأة كانت في تذاكر القطار.. في الذهاب، كان لدينا ترانزيت في دمنهور! من شدة الزحام إضطررنا لحجز تذكرة القاهرة-دمنهور في عربة 6 و دمنهور- الإسكندرية في عربة 4 بنفس القطار. لحسن الحظ لم يطالب أحد بمقاعد عربة 6 فلم نضطر لتغيير العربة في دمنهور كما توقعنا

ثم حاولنا حجز مقاعد للعودة عند وصولنا، و بعد معاناة بالغة وجدنا مقاعد في عربة (علاوة) تضاف في آخر القطار و لشدة الضغط كان هذا هو شكل التذكرة.. مصنوعة من الورق المقوى الأبيض في حجم تذكرة مترو الأنفاق

لا يوجد كثير لأذكره عن رحلة اليوم الواحد، فقد كانت رحلة غذائية بحتة تخللتها بعض النوادر و موقف سيء واحد و رحلة طويلة جداً بالقطار

بعد الأكلة المعتبرة عند بلبع، اتجهنا في طريقنا إلى الكورنيش و قبل أن نصل بخمس دقائق أفاجأ بمراهق (ابن ****) يأتي من الخلف على دراجة و يضربني بعصا حديدية على الغالية و هو يقهقه بصوت عالي! طبعاً قمت بسبه كالعادة و اختفى في لمح البصر كالعادة و لم يتحرك أي شخص طبعاً كالعادة أيضاً. و أما الغالية فقد ظلت تؤلمني و أنا أدكعها حتى لا تزرق.. هكذا أدرك أن المشكلة ليست في القاهرة و إنما

من الجيد أنني وجدت ما يضحكني جداً بعد وصلة الشكوى التي قمت بأدائها لصديقتي. فجأة و بلا مقدمات نمر أمام شارع الطفولة السعيدة! اسم غريب لشارع! نشرع في توقع أسماء الشوارع المقبلة: الطفولة المشردة - المراهقة التعيسة - المراهقة المتأخرة.. للأسف خاب ظننا، الشوارع التي تلت كانت أسمائها عادية جداً

نزور مول سان ستيفانو لزيارة الحمام، أكتئب عندما أجده نسخة من سيتي ستارز، نفس المحلات و نفس طاولة الإستعلامات. اشعر أنهم يشوهون الإسكندرية بهذه البنايات المستسخة، لطالما كنت أشعر هناك بأنها متفردة و مختلفة. نأخذ الترام لمحطة الرمل، تتحدث معنا سيدة تسأل عن حقيبة يدي المزخرفة بأغطية الكازوز، أشرح لها أن الحقيبة جاءت هكذا و أشير أن الأغطية مكتوب عليها باللغة الصينية فتسألني لدهشتي إذا ما كنت من الصين ثم تتحسر على خيبتنا و كيف أن نسائهن أشطر من ستاتنا كتير.. تلاقيهم في كل حتة هنا بيبيعوا حاجات.. ثم تسأل إذا كانت صديقتي صينية، مع العلم أن كلتانا لا تحمل أي ملامح أسيوية

صديقتي تأتي من عائلة ذات ذاكرة جاسترونومية مبهرة! لا أذكر مثلها في عائلتي.. صديقتي هذه المرة أخذتني إلى "فلوكيجر" حلواني صغير في الرمل سويسري الأصل يشتهر عند عائلتها بقواربه الصغيرة من الكعك المغطى بالشيكولاتة. أبتاع لعائلتي بعض المراكب الصغيرة ثم نشرب عصير الليمون في "ديليس" و قبل أن نذهب إلى محطة مصر تبتاع بعض البسكويت المفضل لوالدها من "تريانون". الزيارة القادمة (بعد دخول المدارس) سوف آكل الكاساتا في تريانون

نتوجه إلى المحطة، كل منا تحمل قوارب فلوكيجر الثمينة و نصل إلي القاهرة بعد إنتصاف اليل.. قضينا أربع ساعات في القطار و أعلم أنني لا أريد زيارة الإسكندرية صيفاً أبداً

Every Friday when we clean, I would move it carefully, place it somewhere safe, away from action. After we were done, I would move it back to my room and clean it carefully.

For 5 years I was so afraid that it could fall and break.

Yesterday it did.

 
It's weird that even though I'm worried about the toxicity of its liquids spilled in my room and the tiny pieces of broken glass scattered everywhere; I feel relieved somehow. I will not worry about it breaking or about the toxicity of the liquids anymore, I'm done with that, it happened and I won't anticipate it again.

 
I have to admit that although the dog is destroying my life; in a certain way this helped me get rid of some of the clutter surrounding me.

يحتوي علي وصفات مثل شوربة الكرنب للتخسيس و الكريم المائي للوجه و عناوين مبهرة و مستحيلة مثل : احصلي على بشرة صافية في ثلاثة أيام .. ماكانش حد غلب يا سالي

أستعجب لقب باحثة.. فلا هو الدكتورة و لا هي ذكرت اسمها بلا ألقاب.. هل أبحث أنا أيضاً على الشبكة العنكبوتية و أجمع مادة فأصبح باحثة؟؟ و أهو كله بحث.. بس غلاف قوي جداً على المترو

المية انقطعت يوم السبت طول اليوم.. أصل في ماسورة مكسورة تحت الكوبري

المية انقطعت يوم الأحد.. أصل في ماسورة تانية اتكسرت في ميدان الجيش

الحرارة اتقطعت من التليفون 3 مرات في أسبوع واحد

مش عارفين يركبولي دي اس ال بقالهم شهر و غالباً هم السبب في قطع الحرارة

من أجل كل ما سبق، أناشد السادة المسئولين بالتروي في موضوع الطاقة النووية ده شوية لأننا لسة مش مستعدين للنووي. يعني ممكن لما بإذن الله كده نصلح تسريبات المية و المترو لأن المفاعل مش هيسرب مية

I'm not sure if the album is being marketed yet or no, but here are the lyrics of "How do you do" , it's quite a nice song actually!

My comment (or rather my question is) are we that unsure and weak that we have to ban anything different? Can a human bein offend the Almighty? Why can't we be given the freedom of choice? Can't we tell if it's OK to talk about God that way or no? Who is this distributor to think for me and decide that it's not OK that Shakira says to God that she will forgive Him if He forgives her!!

All my life I've been taught that we learn to be able to make our own choices, it's what I've done in every volunteer activity I've taken, prepare the children I was working with to make their own choices.

I think that it involves seeing all the alternatives and weighting things in the eyes of God and then choosing for themselves (having been given all the necessary data)

The song has actually parts of the Lord's prayer, I only heard of banning it in the middle east! If somebody heard it was banned somewhere else, please tell me..

This reminds me of the one time, one of my college buddies had to shave his goatie because the responsible thought it was inappropriate for the teens that my friend was serving in Sunday school to see their teacher (and role model) act like that..

I mean what's wrong with the goatie?? Oh sure.. it's very bad to be cool ;) And I thought then that one alternative has been taken away from these teens judgment.. cause someone made the choice for them and categorized the goatie as inapropriate!

Please.. let us think for ourselves! That's all I'm asking! Which means leave the song and let us say it's bad.. don't do it for us.. And please don't think that I'm comparing a goatie to the "inappropriate" song!

So, a tragic accident occurred and an Egyptian ferry sank in the Red Sea, carrying around 1400 person, 1000 are still missing..

On TV, they are urging people to donate to the victims and their families, a bank account has already been designated for this purpose and (they say) 10 million LE have already been collected.

Let me put it this way, a 35 years old ferry which is not qualified to sail, that does not carry enough life boats or life jackets, the crew abandoned the ferry when it started to sink and yet the Egyptian people have to donate for the victims sake??

So, somebody neglects their jobs, someone depends on "el baraka", a company violates safety measures and who gets to compensate the victims?? Egyptians..

Why don't we donate for the company that owns the ferry too?? I mean the poor bastards just lost one of their boats and killed 1000 human being!

I'm sorry, I have nothing against charity, but this is not a natural disaster, this is the result of terrible negligence and if somebody should pay, it is the company and definitely not the good Egyptian people!

That is if you can afford it off course..
