Home smells like rain!

Olal

We got clay jugs today (olal), I rinsed them several times and filled them with water.

Now the whole place smells like after the rain.. muddy that is!

PS: Anybody knows if I should've rinsed them with vinegar prior to use?

    Well, you should put water in them and leave them for few days. You might consider changing the water once or twice a day and then you can use them safely...
