Be cool!

It's World Environment Day! So what can we do to reduce Global Warming ?? It's like mother nature is sending us a message today that it's 40 degrees outside!

We can donate one pound as Set Na3ama says the minister suggests.. I would suggest you visit this website (via Jetset) that tells you how to lower both the consumption and the emission of energy.. so if we use little we will little, it's easy stuff for everyday.. check them out.

global cool

You can also become vegetarian because according to Readers Digest's June issue quoting Jay Leno :“Here’s something interesting. According to a new report by the United Nations, livestock are more responsible for global warming than all the cars in the world combined. They say the methane gas from cows has 20 times more global warming than carbon dioxide. That’s why, my next cow is going to be a hybrid.”

On another note.. we can recycle daily, if we decrease photocopying, we use both sides of paper, carry a folded shopping bag, reuse the plastic bags.. The small changes are endless, think of something!

These sweet people in Upper Egypt finally found one good use for the election banners ;)

    There are things you can do:

    * learn about the science of climate change
    * tell someone else about it, or use your blog
    * change all the light bulbs to more effective solutions
    * live without a car
    * learn about your energy alternatives. We all have choices
    * Eat less meat

    You can also shower with someone, and dry in the sun.
