I took my decision,
I had to stop being depressed
I had to stop not being able to wake up every morning
I had to stop being someone else
I had to stop doing something that I wasn't made for
I quit my job.
Everyone said it was secure
Everyone said I shouldn't give it up before finding another one
Everyone said that I was going to regret it in the future
Everyone said I was unreasonable
And I stood up against everyone
Against every logic
Every logic that is not mine.
I only want to find myself
I only want to fly in the highest sky
I only want to fulfill the reason of my existence
I'm not a chick; I'm not supposed to live in the barn nor to eat the crumbs
I'm an eagle who is meant to live on the top of a mountain and hunt his daily bread
I only wish to fulfill my destiny

I don't think it was a bad decision. Life has taught me that although all people might agree on one thing, it doesn't necessary mean they are right. It just means they agree on it. If you take my life as an example, it should have been totally different now. But believe it, I still enjoy it this way!

What makes you who you are, what constitutes your being, what forms your whole, is not what you think of yourself or what others think of you. Rather, it is your purpose in this life, manifested through your actions or inactions, that defines you as an entity. "You are a being" is a statement that does not contain family, friendship, social status, monthly salary, university, or any other mundane personal/impersonal objects. These are no more than mere bagatelles that life offers in an attempt to divert you from your initial purpose, namely, the reason that you exist. Only if you transcend these trivialities of life, only then can you say: I exist. Otherwise, you are no more than a shadow of a thought, a reflection of some obscure primitive reality that will never realize itself into an actuality. Thus, you are not!
